Useful Information:

Swimming/PE:

During the Spring Term 2024, our PE day will be a WEDNESDAY. The children will require suitable clothing and footwear to take part in this session. They may come to school already dressed in their kit for the day.

Reading Books & Guided Reading:

The children should ensure their reading bags are brought to school on a Monday morning to give us plenty of opportunities to listen to them read throughout the week. Books will be changed once the children have completed and understood each book. Reading books will be returned home every Friday afternoon.

WE also take part in daily whole class guided reading sessions focusing on inference, vocabulary, fluency, discussion and retrieval.

You can support your child by encouraging them to read lots of other lovely books you may have at home, or by taking a trip to Aberdare library.
