Caradog Community Champions was set up in January 2022 to provide a PTA fund-raising team for the school and to provide a range of support services for our parents and wider community.

Caradog Primary School Parents and Friends PTA

A group of dedicated staff, parents and members of the local community who give up their time freely to organise and run fund-raising activities for the school.  Some of the events organised include Valentine's Day and Halloween discos, Easter raffles, Summer and Christmas Fetes, quiz nights, Bangers and Bingo evenings and our annual Year 6 End of school summer Prom.  Mrs Lyndsey Paxton leads our team.

Caradog Community Uniform Shop and "Y Pantri"

The champions have recently set up (Autumn 2024) a uniform shop in our Parents Hub on the yard. Parents can access pre-loved, excellent condition items of uniform free of charge. 

We also have cupboards known as "Y Pantri" where families can access a range of non-perishable food items and sanitary products free of charge.

The Parent Hub is open at the start and end of the school day.

Communities for Work+

We are extremely fortunate to have Miss Rebecca Buckley on our team here, who works for Communities for Work+ and she has helped us to provide training courses for our staff, parents and wider community to access.  The qualifications and courses are numerous and varied.  In addition to this, Miss Buckley supports with accessing and applications for grants for various projects undertaken throughout the school such as the allotment.
