Pupils have the option of bringing a Packed Lunch or having a School Dinner. Universal Primary Free School Meals has been introduced by the Welsh Government, so school dinners are now free to children who receive full time education. Nursery children in school part time will still have to pay for school dinners.
We would advise parents who are on low income or who receive Universal Credit to still apply for Free School Meals through the council, as this will then entitle your child to a School Essentials Grant.
