Welcome to our school website. On behalf of myself, the Staff and Governors, I hope it gives you an insight into our welcoming school, here in Aberdare.
Caradog is a happy, caring Primary School where we pride ourselves on being able to get to know every child and family individually. We work hard to nurture the unique talents of all of our children, by striving to achieve high standards in all areas of the curriculum. We also support our pupils in developing confidence and patience, tolerance and perseverance, as they develop into happy and successful citizens of the future.
At Caradog Primary School we believe, and work hard to ensure, that children thrive in an environment in which they are happy, challenged and secure. All of us at Caradog hope that your child’s experience in primary school is exciting and fun. We understand that these school years will help set the foundations and building blocks for a positive, life-long journey of learning, developing and fulfillment. We will always endeavour to teach a range of basic skills and values and as a school we are committed to providing the best educational experiences within a nurturing environment; with excellent adult role models who will encourage and motivate your child to reach their full potential.
The school is committed to ensuring the best teaching and learning experiences across the curriculum. We ask all parents to support their child’s learning and establish positive relationships with school, so that each child can reach their full potential.
I sincerely hope that if your child joins us at Caradog, or as your child moves through their primary education with us, that this will be the beginning of a long and happy relationship with our school.
