Caradog Community Champions was set up in January 2022 to provide a PTA fund-raising team for the school and to provide a range of support services for our parents and wider community.

Caradog Primary School Parents and Friends

A group of dedicated staff, parents and members of the local community who give up their time freely to organise and run fund-raising activities for the school.  Some of the events organised include Valentine's Day and Halloween discos, Easter raffles, Summer and Christmas Fetes, quiz nights, Bangers and Bingo evenings and our annual Year 6 End of school summer Prom.  Mrs Lyndsey Paxton leads our team.

Caradog Community Uniform Shop

The champions have recently set up a Uniform shop from which parents can access pre-loved, excellent condition items of uniform at just £1 per item.  The Uniform shop is usually open on Thursdays at the start and end of the school day.

Communities for Work+

We are extremely fortunate to have Miss Rebecca Buckley on our team here, who works for Communities for Work+ and she has helped us to provide training courses for our staff, parents and wider community to access.  The qualifications and courses are numerous and varied.  In addition to this, Miss Buckley supports with accessing and applications for grants for various projects undertaken throughout the school such as the allotment and we are currently working towards setting up an Ambient Foodbank in the Caradog Community Cwtch at the school.
